Anthurium Pink & White with Pot
The tropical Anthurium plant with its vivid colours , heart shaped flowers and striking appearance makes for a wonderful gift. General common names include anthurium, tailflower, flamingo flower and laceleaf.
The plant is native to the Americas, where it is distributed from northern Mexico to northern Argentina and parts of the Caribbean. With simple care it can be a very successful and easy to maintain houseplant and stunning center piece. Typically they will be 70cms in height and come in a high attractive pot which our experience florist will select in terms of colour to complement your gift. Your gift will be gift wrapped with a ribbon and hand tied bow.
Anthuriums Plant Care
Remove dead and unsightly foliage and faded or brown flowers by cutting off with scissors.
Use a peat moss base if planting to a larger container.
Anthuriums need a high light and even semi direct sunlight will be fine.
Water your anthuriums moderately and allow it to dry slightly between waterings.They do not enjoy sitting in permanent water. Soluable plant feed is beneficial.
